Luvies Bakery was started in 2011 by Pastry Chef Melanie Pillay. Melanie’s culinary expertise has earned her enormous respect through her work in the industry over the last 5 years. After completing a humanities degree at Wits University, Melanie entered the renowned Prue Leith Chef’s Academy to realise her passion for cooking and baking. At Prue Leith, Melanie had the opportunity to work with the renowned Chef Rudi Liebenberg and others. On completion of her chef’s course, Melanie received an award for being the top pastry chef in the academy.
We can make you celebration even more special by adding a birthday cake or a wedding cake that will be the talk / or envy of your friends and family for weeks to come. We custom make all cakes to satisfy customer needs. you can even send us a picture and we’ll do our best to replicate for you.
